Checking out an asset (assigning it to a team member) ensures your inventory stays accurate and you always know who is responsible for which device.
1. Sign In: Log into your portal account.
2. Navigate: Head to the left-hand menu and select Assets > Computers.
3. Click on the specific asset you wish to assign.
Assign to User: In the User field, search for and select the staff member’s name.
Update Status: Change the Status dropdown to "Check-Out" to reflect that it is no longer in storage.
Save: Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Quick Tip: If you are on the move, you can simply scan the QR code on the asset tag with your phone to open the asset page directly and update the user field in seconds.
