What are the available question types (Instructor)

You can test your learners with assessments when they have completed the course activities. LOOP LMS provides different types of question for you to test your learners:


To create a question, log in to your LOOP LMS account as an Instructor.


Fill in the Blank

Go to Question Bank > Create > Fill in the Blank (1).

Choose the category (2) for this question and name the question (3). Write down your answer and add “_” for 6 times to indicate the blank space for the answer (4).

Indicate the difficulty level (5), mark per answer (6), and penalty per answer (7). Indicate the correct answer (8) before you submit (9).

Matching

Go to Question Bank > Create > Matching (1).

Choose the category (2) for this question and name the question (3). Indicate the description (4) of the question, the difficulty level (5), mark per answer (6), and penalty per answer (7). Type in your question (8) and indicate the correct answer to this question (9). Click the ‘+’ icon (10) to add more questions. Click submit (11) to save this question.

Multiple Choice

Go to Question Bank > Create > Multiple Choice (1).

Choose the category (2) for this question and name the question (3). Write down your question (4) and indicate the difficulty level (5), mark per choice (6) and penalty per choice (7). Indicate different choices (8) and click ‘+’ icon (9) to add more choices. Tick the correct answers (10). Click submit (11) to save this question.

Single Choice

Go to Question Bank > Create > Single Choice (1).

Choose the category (2) for this question and name the question (3). Write down your question (4) and indicate the difficulty level (5), mark per choice (6), and penalty per choice (7). Indicate different choices (8) and click the ‘+’ icon (9) to add more choices. Tick the correct answer (10). Click submit (11) to save this question.

Drag and Drop Marker

Go to Question Bank > Create > Drag and Drop Marker (1).

Upload an image (2). To indicate a marker, name the label (3), click the Coordinates box (4) and drop a marker on the image by clicking the specific points on the image (5). Click the ‘+’ icon (6) to drop more markers on the same image.

Fill up from Course Category (7) to Penalty for each Incorrect (8). Click Submit (9) to save this question.

Note: The image size has to be in Square (e.g. 128x128 px)

Drag and Drop Text

Go to Question Bank > Create > Drag and Drop Text (1).

Choose the category (2) and name the question (3). Insert your question and use ‘[[‘ and ‘]]’ to indicate a box placeholder (4). Indicate the difficulty level (5), mark per answer (6), and penalty per answer (7). Fill up the answer (8) and click the ‘+’ icon (9) to add more answers. Submit (10) to save the question.

Essay

Go to Question Bank > Create > Essay Question (1).

Choose the category (2) and name the question (3). Insert your essay description (4) to give the learners more details. Indicate the difficulty level (5) and default mark (6) and penalty per answer. Submit (7) to save the question.
