(COMMUNICATION) 05. How to set up a virtual lecture theatre

LOOP LMS allows you to conduct lessons with your learners, especially when there are clarifications that need to be made regarding the course contents. LOOP LMS provides the Instructor/Site Administrator a virtual lecture theatre to have lessons with your learners.

The key difference between a virtual classroom and a virtual lecture theatre is the duration of a session. A virtual classroom is a 40-minute session while a lecture theatre provides a duration of more than 40 minutes within each session.

Here’s how to set up a virtual lecture theatre in a few steps:

1. Log in to your LOOP LMS account as an Instructor/Site Administrator. Go to Collaboration Tools > Virtual Room > Lecture Theatre (1).

2. You can view (2) the details set for other virtual rooms that you have previously created. Otherwise, create a new virtual classroom (3).

3. Fill up the details and submit (4).

That’s it!

Now you can set up either a virtual lecture theatre or a virtual classroom based on your training needs. For internal meetings, we suggest you set up a conference session. You can also create a chatroom and send text messages.
